Mental Toughness

Possessing the ability to be emotionally resilient and consistently perform under stress and pressure is mental toughness. It is a personality trait related to qualities such as character and perseverance. Building it reaps longevity, lower rates of depression and greater satisfaction in life. 

 

Building Blocks

Mental toughness helps us resist being derailed by negative thoughts and emotions. Practice mindfulness; respond to stress or strain, rather than react. Adaptability is another key component to adjusting to a changing environment and conditions. Persevere through your challenges and obtain the unwavering commitment to your goals. 

 

Mental Strength

An individual that enchants the mental fortitude to handle challenges, fosters a compassionate inner dialogue. Likewise, lacking mental toughness causes you to be easily overwhelmed. Making you turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with harmful health consequences such as chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Bad performance, failure or inconvenience doesn’t shake your belief in your abilities when you procure the mental strength. 

 

Conclusion
